On February 24, Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko met with Pekka Haavisto, Foreign Minister of Finland, on the margins of the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Vadym Prystaiko positively assessed the dynamics of political dialogue between Ukraine and Finland. The Head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry assured that the top leadership of Ukraine is committed to the peaceful settlement of the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict, and informed about the practical steps of Ukraine in this direction in the context of implementation of the agreements reached by the leaders of the "Norman Four" in December.
The parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as the interaction of two countries in the international arena. The experience of organizing the educational process in Finland is important for Ukraine in reforming higher and secondary education.
