Inter-parliamentary Cooperation

The Group of Inter-parliamentary Cooperation «Finland-Ukraine» in the Parliament of Finland was created for the first time in September 1995. The Group of Friendship with Ukraine in the new composition of the Parliament of Finland was formed in December 2019 (Chair of the group is P.Östman). The deputies’ group of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Finland was founded in January 2020 (co-chairs of the group are A.Klochko and V.Nalyvaichenko).

The Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Finnish Commission for Trade and Economic Development acts since 1996. The seventh Commission meeting was held in Kyiv in September 2018.
