February 15, 2020 in the framework of the Munich Security Conference, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Zagorodnyuk met with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Finland Antti Kaikkonen.

The parties considered perspective directions of cooperation between the defense agencies of the two countries. The main focus of the discussion was on counteracting hybrid threats.

Ministers exchanged views on further cooperation on the preparation of military personnel to participate in peacekeeping missions, joint participation in international military exercises and peacekeeping operations, as well as common efforts in the field of military education and training of military personnel.
