On September 13, Ukrainian Ambassador Olga Dibrova gave a keynote speech at the opening of the Security Conference in Kouvola, the theme of which this year was "How can we ensure a safer future?"
"Our common future depends on the complete victory of Ukraine," - emphasized Ambassador of Ukraine at the beginning of her speech, as she underlined the key prerequisites for Ukraine’s victory and the establishment of a stable and just peace:
-
ensuring accountability for all war crimes, crimes of aggression, genocide, and crimes against humanity committed by Russia in Ukraine;
Olga Dibrova called for immediate steps to increase assistance from partners to ensure the security of Ukraine's airspace, strengthen Ukraine's ability to strike long distances at the aggressor's military facilities, and provide large-scale financial support to Ukrainian military-industrial complex companies capable of quickly meeting Ukraine's defense needs.
The participants of the conference - leading politicians, representatives of the leadership of state bodies of the security bloc of Finland, authoritative international experts and leaders of companies of the Finnish military-industrial complex - in their speeches and comments demonstrated broad solidarity and support for Ukraine on the way to victory and the establishment of a stable and just peace in Europe.
