Discussed during the meeting:
The work of EastCham Finland's office in Ukraine, opened in the spring of 2024, to promote the involvement of Finnish companies in Ukraine's reconstruction;
Development of business contacts and cooperation between enterprises of both countries;
Use of financial instruments to facilitate trade and investment;
The importance of preventing sanctions evasion and ensuring further economic isolation of Russia, including through the exit from the Russian market.
Ambassador of Ukraine welcomed the active interest of Finnish business in the reconstruction of Ukraine, thanked Finnish businessmen for their clear position on compliance with sanctions and donating aid to Ukraine, and also called for increasing support for our state.
Olga Dibrova reported on the positive dynamics of Ukraine's economy and provided information about the investment climate and Ukraine's needs for foreign investments. The importance of deepening business cooperation between both countries was emphasized, especially in light of Ukraine's prospective acquisition of EU membership.
