Despite constant brutal shelling by Russia, #Kharkiv continues to develop and improve. The Finnish twin city, #Turku, is helping it in this.

As part of the cooperation started in 2022 at the initiative of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Olga Dibrova, a delegation of the Kharkiv City Council visited the city of Turku.

Finnish colleagues shared with representatives of Kharkiv their experience in creating an inclusive and barrier-free environment in the city, including not only physical but also digital accessibility for residents, topical issues of city management, cooperation with business.

In addition, the delegation of the Kharkiv City Council met with Ambassador Olga Dibrova, Mayor of Turku Minna Arve, representatives of Finnish companies and took part in one of the largest international events held in Finland - the #EuropeanForum.

We thank Mayor of Turku, Minna Arve, and the city council employees for their support of Ukraine, their active participation in developing Ukrainian-Finnish regional cooperation, and the assistance and humanitarian aid provided to Kharkiv.
