Ukraine and Finland continue to strengthen their partnership in the field of education

This time the focus is on infomedia literacy. A delegation of Ukrainian educational specialists led by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Andrii Stashkiv visited Finland.
During the visit:

meetings with leading Finnish specialists in the field of education;

study of the best models of integration of institutional media literacy into the school curriculum;

practical aspect of media literacy in the classroom - visiting local schools;

discussion of Ukraine's experience in information security and countering challenges associated with a large-scale russian invasion.
Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, Olga Dibrova, congratulated the participants of the program and emphasized the importance of media literacy, particularly in the context of russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and its information front.
In addition, the Ambassador highlighted the role of Finnish media in covering russia's aggression and ensuring support for Ukraine by Finnish society - Finland has one of the highest levels of solidarity with Ukraine among EU countries.
This visit took place within the framework of the Finnish professional exchange program in the field of infomedia literacy with the support of the international non-governmental organization IREX.
