On the initiative and assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland and Iceland, a twinning agreement was concluded between Melitopol and Seinäjoki.

As part of a working visit to #Finland by the delegation of the Melitopol City Council, the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov and the mayor of Seinäjoki Jaakko Kiiskilä signed the partnership agreement. In addition, the heads of both municipalities agreed on the first practical steps in cooperation.

Although Melitopol is occupied by russian terrorists, both Ukraine and our Finnish partners are already actively preparing for the de-occupation of Melitopol.
