On May 4, 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland Olga Dibrova met with the Mayor of Helsinki Juhana Vartiainen.

During the meeting, such issues as how to best help Ukrainians, especially children who had to seek temporary protection in Finland, as well as providing comprehensive support to the activities of Ukrainian associations operating in Helsinki were discussed.

The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed her sincere gratitude for the continued support and solidarity with the Ukrainian people, as well as the moving gesture regarding the Ukrainian flag which has been proudly fluttering in front of the Helsinki City Council since the beginning of the war.
