The slogan of this year's congress is "We stand with Ukraine", and the conclusion is that Ukraine deserves peace and justice.
During the ceremonial opening of the Congress on November 3, 2023, Ambassador of Ukraine Olga Dibrova addressed the future generation of Finnish politicians with a speech in which she emphasized the need to preserve the unity of the democratic world in the face of the challenges of autocracies, and emphasized the important role of Finland in this process:
"russia and its satellites, along with some other regional and global players, are testing the resilience of liberal democracies and actively looking for vulnerabilities to destroy our unity."
Ambassador expressed gratitude for Finland's exemplary and comprehensive support and assistance to Ukraine at the level of society and the state.
Olga Dibrova highly appreciated Finland's activity in promoting and implementing Volodymyr Zelenskyy's #PeaceFormula and supporting the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Among other conditions for a fair and lasting peace in Europe, the Ambassador noted the need for:

bringing to justice all those guilty of crimes of aggression, genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes committed by russia in Ukraine;

restoration and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine at the expense of russian assets;

membership of Ukraine in #NATO.
She emphasized that Ukraine will not accept offers to make territorial concessions or offers that would lead to freezing the conflict, and expressed confidence that Ukraine will win this existential battle against the terrorist state of russia under the conditions of sufficient armed support from its partners.
In conclusion, the Ambassador highly praised the Program of the Government of Petteri Orpo (head of the National Coalition Party), which clearly confirms the special spirit of close bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Finland, as well as the prospects of broad involvement of Finland in the restoration of Ukraine.
