On April 10, 2021, the staff of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland, headed by Ambassador Olga Dibrova, joined the Greening of the Planet eco-initiative by planting a thuja tree on the territory of the diplomatic mission.

The main aim of the movement is to plant 1 million trees in 1 day in 100 countries, to conduct a nationwide and international tree planting awareness-raising campaign and promote the greening of the planet. The one millionth tree will be traditionally planted in Ukraine.
