Ambassador Olga Dibrova met with members of the parliamentary friendship group with Ukraine headed by retired Major General Pekka Toveri

The group, which included 58 deputies after the Eduskunta - Riksdagen elections in April this year, became the largest in the Parliament.
Olga Dibrova thanked the parliamentarians for Finland's systematic and comprehensive political and practical support of Ukraine.
The following topics were discussed during the meeting:

long-term bilateral defense cooperation;

Ukraine's urgent humanitarian aid needs;

implementation of the #PeaceFormula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy;

Ukraine's accession to NATO and the start of negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU;

Finland's participation in the reconstruction and modernization of Ukraine;

development of regional cooperation.
The Speaker of the Parliament Jussi Halla-aho also took part in the meeting.
