Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Olga Dibrova visited the University of Helsinki, where she met with the rector Sari Lind­blom, university teachers, Ukrainian students and students studying Ukrainian as a foreign language.

Ambassador thanked the University of Helsinki for supporting Ukraine. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the educational institution condemned Russian aggression, provided additional opportunities to Ukrainian scientists and students, and transferred funds to benefit Ukraine, particularly through UNICEF. Olga Dibrova also welcomed the significant increase in Ukrainian studies courses at Finland's top university and the expansion of cooperation with Ukrainian educational institutions.

During the meeting, Ukrainian students talked about their studies at the University of Helsinki and their plans for the future. Students studying Ukrainian as a foreign language impressed with their knowledge of the Ukrainian language, culture, literature and history.
