On May, 5 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland A. Deshchytsia visited the premiere performance «Lenin Love. Stalin Love» directed by Andrii Zholdak. The event was held in the framework of European cultural project «Turku - European Cultural Capital 2011».

The play presented by Cherkasy State Theatre troupe was the main event of the Festival Theatre Art in Turku.

The director works in Turku for two years and his extraordinary performances attract significant interest of the Finnish audience and are very popular.

The performance «Anna Karenina» directed by Andriy Zholdak in Turku City Theatre already won Thalia-prize, the main Finnish Theatre performance of 2010 award.
