Ukraine and Finland signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the tax authorities

On April 7, 2025, the Ambassador of Ukraine, Olga Dibrova, participated in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the tax authorities of Ukraine and Finland on the launch of a project aimed at increasing trust in the State Tax Service of Ukraine as an effective organization with high standards.
This is another important technical assistance project for Ukraine from the Government of Finland, alongside others initiated in recent years.
The goal of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity of the State Tax Service of Ukraine in aligning the tax administration system with European standards.
Optimizing operations and increasing the transparency of the tax service are key tasks for improving the business and investment climate in Ukraine, as well as for the development of the economy and public administration as a whole.
Such cooperation becomes even more crucial as Ukraine anticipates attracting new investments in the context of large-scale reconstruction across many sectors.
Finland’s support for Ukraine in implementing reforms is critically important today, especially on Ukraine’s path toward EU membership.
