With the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland and Iceland, today in Helsinki First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yevhen Kudriavets and State Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland Mikaela Nylander signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Міністерство освіти і науки України and the Ministry of Education and Culture of Finland Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö.

The document is the first step in expanding #Finland's leadership in promoting reforms and rebuilding the education sector in #Ukraine. The memorandum of understanding, in particular, envisages cooperation on improving the learning environment and teacher training.

As part of the working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to Finland, a number of meetings to discuss joint projects with representatives of state bodies and agencies of Finland responsible for the field of education, visits to educational institutions of various types are also planned.
