The Ukrainian Kherson and the Finnish municipality of Vaasa have joined the extensive network of partner cities.

As part of a working visit to Finland, Deputy Mayor of Kherson Vitalii Belobrov and Mayor of Vaasa Tomas Häyry signed a cooperation agreement. The cities decided to start their cooperation on such topics as sustainable development, youth, education and science, culture and sports, city management, democracy.

"The city of Vaasa and the largest cluster of energy technologies in the Scandinavian countries EnergyVaasa see a clear path of partnership between municipalities in the areas of development of city administration and development of energy infrastructure, including cooperation in the fields of culture and work with youth," said Mayor Tomas Häyry.
