Ambassador of Ukraine welcomed the inclusion of Ukraine in the circle of countries for which the Euro-Atlantic Department is responsible, established in August this year, which once again demonstrates Finland's strong support for Ukraine's movement towards membership in the EU and NATO.
Agenda of the meeting covered all issues and dimensions of the partnership between Ukraine and Finland in the political, military, humanitarian, economic spheres, as well as the broad involvement of Finland in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to the continuation of military aid to Ukraine from the side of Finland, the increase of investments in military production in Ukraine, the provision of urgent needs of Ukraine in the reconstruction of electricity and heat generation, the construction of protective structures and the implementation of humanitarian demining in Ukraine.
Olga Dibrova thanked the First Lady of Finland Suzanne Innes-Stubb for her participation in the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen (September 12, Kyiv) and for the powerful speech of the President of Finland Alexander Stubb at the Summit of the International Crimean Platform, which took place the day before.
The Ambassador of Ukraine also expressed deep gratitude for Finland's readiness to provide systematic and comprehensive assistance to Ukraine as much as it will be necessary for Ukraine's victory, as well as for Finland's leading role in achieving a broad international consensus on building a sustainable and just peace based on the
#PeaceFormula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
