On February 25, 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine Olga Dibrova was received by President of Finland Sauli Niinistö.

The meeting took place after a telephone conversation between the Presidents of Ukraine and Finland.

Ambassador of Ukraine expressed deep gratitude for Finland's strong political support, and solidarity with Ukraine, the Finnish government's decision to provide additional financial assistance of 15 million euros, and Finland's active efforts to maintain unity in strengthening the EU's consolidated position in response to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine.

During the meeting, possible parameters of emergency practical assistance to Ukraine from Finland in the humanitarian and security dimensions at the bilateral and multilateral levels, in particular within the EU, were discussed.
