During a working visit to North Karelia, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Olga Dibrova held a number of meetings with representatives of top companies in the region

Ambassador thanked Ukraine for its uncompromising support, humanitarian and financial assistance.
In particular, Olga Dibrova noted that Ukraine highly appreciates the termination of any cooperation with russia by the business sector of #NorthKarelia, despite significant financial losses, since the region directly borders russia.
Finnish companies showed significant interest in participating in the reconstruction of Ukraine and presented their high-tech and "green" proposals prepared exclusively for our country, including:

smart solutions of wooden structures from the Karelia UAS;

energy-efficient technologies for the production of carbon-neutral concrete from the companies "Carbonaide" and Mecmetal Oy;

wooden building materials from Scanpole;

technological solutions for aviation monitoring from Kelluu.
In addition, Seppo Tossavainen, Director of the Department of Economic and International Relations of the City of Joensuu presented the economic and investment opportunities of the municipality - Innovative "Forest Joensuu" ecosystem and its main solutions.
The meetings were held with the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Pohjois-Karjalan kauppakamari.
