On November 12, 2024, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, Olga Dibrova, participated in a meeting with members of the Finnish Chamber of Commerce regarding cooperation with Central and Eastern European countries.
Ambassador presented Ukraine's economic potential and reported on the positive trajectory of the Ukrainian economy despite ongoing military actions and Russian aggression. She emphasized that the Ukrainian people have not only managed to resist Russian aggression but have also succeeded in restoring economic activity within the country.
Olga Dibrova emphasized that Ukraine is undergoing significant transformations, driven by two key factors that will shape the development of its economy and market in the near future:
-
The reconstruction of Ukraine, creating substantial demand in areas such as residential construction, energy, transportation and logistics, agriculture, and more.
These factors create substantial opportunities for investment and trade, alongside the anticipated economic growth of post-war Ukraine, driven by reconstruction efforts, international support, and structural reforms.
Ambassador invited Finnish companies to participate in Ukraine's reconstruction efforts and to begin cooperation starting today.
