"Since its inception in 2014, during the illegal occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea by Russia and the onset of Russian military aggression against Ukraine, the theatre has aimed not only to promote Ukrainian culture abroad but also to enhance support for our country through its activities. Despite numerous challenges, the Ukrainian Theatre of Finland has grown — expanding its cast, productions, and accolades, including international recognition," said Olga Dibrova, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, during her welcoming address.
Ambassador presented a Certificate of Appreciation from the
Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland and Iceland to Igor Frei, the founder, artistic director, and chief stage director of the theatre, as a token of recognition for the Ukrainian state's appreciation of active, professional, and dedicated representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora.
Once again, we extend our congratulations to the team of the Ukrainian Theatre of Finland on this milestone and wish them continued creative success!
Thank you for your inspiration and dedication to the homeland!
