On Independence Day of Ukraine, Félag Úkraínumanna á Íslandi joined in setting a new world record - the largest simultaneous performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine.

5137 participants from 55 countries of the world took part in the promotion. The organizer of the event was the Міжнародний штаб допомоги українцям (МШДУ) with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The purpose of the event was to attract the attention of foreigners to the war in Ukraine and, in particular, to raise funds for the support of Ukraine and the Armed Forces.
