Ambassador spoke about the terrible consequences of russian aggression, caused to Ukrainian educational institutions, destroyed places of study and invited to join the reconstruction and modernization of the educational sector of Ukraine, to promote the development of partnership relations between Ukrainian and Finnish schools.

Ambassador expressed gratitude for Finland's comprehensive assistance, political role and leadership in mobilizing the international community for the full restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Sincere thanks to the schools and teachers for the reception, creating conditions for Ukrainian children and youth, helping to adapt and socialize in a new place.

“Good education is a prerequisite of self-realization on individual level and key to a strong capacity of the national economy on macrolevel. Good education also contributes to the security by developing media literacy skills as well as critical and innovative thinking which make our societies resilient and successful,” – said Ambassador in her speech.

About 250 directors of Finnish educational institutions, teachers, representatives of educational institutions joined the event.
