08 December 2022 10:00

This time, 5 school buses were sent, which will soon take Ukrainian children to study in the regions that were particularly affected by #russianaggression. In addition, Finland transferred all the necessary professional equipment for the school kitchen, which will be able to provide food for 300 students.

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Ольга Діброва, together with the Minister of the Interior of Finland Krista Mikkonen, the Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland Timo Harakka and the Deputy Head of the Representation of the European Commission in Finland Maria Kokkonen were present during the shipment of the humanitarian cargo and answered the questions of the Finnish media regarding Finland's assistance to Ukraine.

"The absolute majority of targets that russia hits are civilian objects. The aggressor country wants to destroy the civilian population. Hundreds of educational institutions are destroyed and need to be restored, including school transport." - emphasized Ambassador Olga Dibrova.

All aid will reach Ukraine as soon as possible thanks to the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
