Ambassador of Ukraine Olga Dibrova addressed the Forum participants during the thematic discussion "Transatlantic Finland and European geopolitics" with a speech about Ukraine's vision of a sustainable and just peace, the achievement of which is based on the full implementation of all 10 points of the
#PeaceFormula of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Olga Dibrova emphasized the critical need to expand the circle of countries that support the Peace Formula, as well as the active involvement of all partners in the implementation of the Peace Formula.
This year's European Forum in Turku was an opportunity to confirm the strong support of Ukraine from Finland and other partners and friends of Ukraine in the world. Thus, Prime Minister of Finland Petteri Orpo and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland Elina Valtonen emphasized firm support for Ukraine's movement towards EU and NATO membership and Finland's readiness to provide Ukraine with extensive practical assistance on a long-term basis.
At the same time, special emphasis was placed, among other things, on the importance of further strengthening of sanctions against russia, ensuring the unhindered export of Ukrainian grain and the importance of strengthening Europe's capabilities in the field of the defense-industrial complex in order to be able to add to the challenges of today.
Olga Dibrova expressed her gratitude to all participants of the Forum for their solidarity and cohesion in supporting the people of Ukraine, who are fighting for their freedom, choosing to be a part of the EU and NATO, and protecting the whole of Europe.
