The festival has been organized since 1995 and is not only a great event for the whole family, but also raises awareness of global challenges facing humanity, the importance of respecting human rights, and preserving the environment.

This year, one of the leading themes of the World Village Festival was the support of Ukraine in the fight against the russian invaders.

We thank the Ulkoministeriö - utrikesministeriet and Fingo - Suomalaiset kehitysjärjestöt for organizing the festival, the Ukrainian music band Balaklava Blues for a bright performance that combined Ukrainian folklore, modern rhythms and a powerful call to fight for democracy and freedom.
