On August 5, 2022, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland
Ольга Діброва opened the "Growth & Learning" seminar held in the city of Espoo. The speech focused on the importance of deepening Ukraine-Finland cooperation in the education sector, taking care of Ukrainian children currently living in Finnish cities, and creating educational opportunities for children living in Ukraine. An important topic of the seminar was the involvement of Finland in the reconstruction, modernization and restoration of Ukrainian educational institutions destroyed and damaged during the war.
The seminar was held with the participation of the Deputy Mayor of the city of Espoo, Mr. Harri Rinta-aho, teachers and the educational community of the city of Espoo: principals of Espoo schools, assistant principals, heads of pre-school education institutions and experts in the field of education - a total of about 300 people.
The ambassador expressed gratitude for the solidarity with Ukraine, for the valuable humanitarian, financial and military assistance since the first hours of the full-scale invasion in February 2022.
