On April 15, 2021, Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland Olga Dibrova met with Chairman of the Finnish Parliament’s Defence Committee, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Honorary Chair of the OSCE PA, member of the Friendship Group with Ukraine in Eduskunta Ilkka Kanerva.  

The development of the situation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and on Ukraine's borders with Russia, the implementation of Ukraine's initiative to establish the Crimean Platform and the parliamentary dimension of the Platform, the development of Ukrainian-Finnish interparliamentary dialogue and cooperation were discussed.

During the meeting, Olga Dibrova expressed gratitude to Ilkka Kanerva for his active personal position in the protection of fundamental European values, in particular the sovereignty and territorial integrity of independent states.
