Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, Olga Dibrova, attended the presentation of the new book by the famous Finnish writer Sofi Oksanen, "Same River Twice - Putin's War Against Women", which was recently held at the Estonian Embassy in Helsinki.

As part of the presentation, Finnish journalist and highly professional war correspondent Antti Kuronen, known for his reports from the Ukrainian front, interviewed the author.

Sofi Oksanen is a like-minded person and a friend of Ukraine, who is bravely fighting side by side with Ukrainians for freedom and victory.

Sofi Oksanen's new work "Same River Twice - Putin's War Against Women" is a must-read! A Ukrainian translation is expected soon.

This is a striking essay about how Russia is repeating in Ukraine its old instruction, implemented by Catherine the Great in the Crimea in 1783, and then by the Soviet Union and Stalin in an increasingly large-scale and bloodier form; how russia silences women, uses rape as a weapon, and humiliates its victims in the media, threatening them with new terrors.
