President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held negotiations with Prime Minister of Finland Juha Sipilä in the course of the official visit to that country.
The parties discussed prospects of further activity of the Intergovernmental Ukraine-Finland Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation.
The President thanked the Prime Minister for a significant contribution of Finland to the progress of Ukrainian reforms and invited Finnish companies to take part in privatization in Ukraine.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed full support for the provision of the visa-free regime for Ukrainians.
Petro Poroshenko and Juha Sipilä discussed the situation in Donbas, implementation of the Minsk agreements and de-occupation of Crimea. The Prime Minister reaffirmed principled position on preservation of sanctions against Russia until full restoration of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, including Crimea.
The Head of State expressed gratitude for a very important support provided by the Finnish Government to Ukraine in the issue of overcoming the negative impact of the Russian aggression.
