On April 13, 2015 Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Finland A.Olefirov paid a working visit to the city of Jyväskylä at the invitation of the mayors of the city.

During the visit, the Ambassador had an honour to meet mayors
Mr Markku Andersson and Mr Timo Koivisto.

A.Olefirov delivered a lecture called «Ukraine: a country in Europe» at the University of Jyväskylä and gave an interview to «Keskisuomalainen» newspaper.

During the visit he met with representatives of the leading companies of energy and environmental technologies sector, including «BioGTS» and «Jyväskylä Energy Group».

Meetings that took place in Jyväskylä showed a growing interest of local both politicians and business circles and students to Ukraine, as well as the readiness to establish cooperation with Ukrainian companies in the field of bioenergy and biofuels.
