Ambassador informed about the situation in Ukraine and the latest massive russian missile strikes, which all but proves the need for further isolation of russia and strengthening of sanctions against the aggressor.

Olga Dibrova emphasized the importance of continued support of Ukraine - both in defense and economic sectors - and invited Finnish business to participate in the large-scale reconstruction process of Ukraine. In this regard, Ambassador welcomed the efforts of the Government of Finland to draw a plan for the country's participation in the reconstruction of Ukraine, the first part of which was published in December 2023 https://t.ly/rzERb .

Finnish business was invited to participate in the #UkraineRecovery Conference, which will be held in Berlin in June 2024.

Along with this, Olga Dibrova urged Finnish companies to find opportunities to provide all kinds of assistance to Ukraine to support the population and servicemen as well as critical infrastructure. The attention of Finnish companies was also drawn to the issue of strengthening sanctions against russia and prevention of their circumvention, which is becoming a key task of all partners of Ukraine today.
