On May 26, 2011 Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland A. Deshchytsia met with the Ukrainian delegation, which visited Finland in framework of the project  «Developing and implementing public policy in Ukraine».

The main component of the curriculum was acquaintance of an innovative system of Finland.

The delegation visited the business incubator Center Aalto, Finnish Finance Agency for Technology and Innovation TEKES, Center for Economic Development, Transport and Environment VTT, Aalto University, Technology Center Otanyemi, Research Centre for Micro- and Nanotechnology research Mikronova, business center of the Oulu city.

The delegation also took part in the annual conference of the International Network for small and medium enterprises (INSME).

During the meeting the Ambassador of Ukraine A. Deshchytsia discussed with Ukrainian officials prospects for development of innovative industry in Ukraine, the possibility of using Finnish experience, involving Finnish innovation funds to the joint venture companies for financing of innovative projects as well as training of managers and experts in this field.
