On July 5, 2022, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Olga Dibrova took part in the opening of the Ukrainian Children's Center at Kansallismuseo - The National Museum of Finland in Helsinki for children from Ukraine who ended up in Finland due to the war.

 

Ольга Діброва: "You are in a beautiful country! Absorb the best to rebuild our country with understanding, rethinking. Your task is to learn and tell what you like; learn someone else's - do not shy away from your own; to express gratitude to the Finns, who have supported Ukraine since the first days of the war. Finland is not giving up with us, with such support we will definitely win. Good will defeat evil, good has no borders!".

Spending time at the center, the children will have the opportunity to communicate with their fellow citizens and will integrate more easily into Finnish society. By combining games, sports, Finnish language lessons and excursions, an encouraging, peaceful environment is created where children get a chance to be children.

From today until July 22, 140 Ukrainian children aged 6-12 will study at the center.
