On 24 May 2022 the Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland Olga Dibrova took part in the virtual launch event of Ukraine symbol and related website
www.ukrainamerkki.fi at the Finland Chamber of Commerce.
At the launch ceremony, the primus motor of the project Marketing Finland together with Keskuskauppakamari, Vala ry, LM Someco, Funzi presented the Ukraine symbol, providing examples of what kind of help Finns have offered to Ukraine, and how companies can use the symbol.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Olga Dibrova thanked the Finnish actors for the hard preparatory work that have been made to develop the Ukraine symbol initiative, expressed admiration for Finland’s continued support and solidarity with Ukrainian people, as well as presented prospects for future cooperation in re-building and modernizing Ukraine.
The Ukraine symbol has been created in response to the need of Finnish companies and associations to have one unified nationally known brand that can be used to communicate their support to Ukraine and Ukrainians.
The symbol is open for free use by companies, associations, educational institutions, public sector actors and organizations that have helped Ukraine and Ukrainians. In return a form on the website shall be filled in with a short description of the type of aid provided to Ukraine.
The Ukraine logo is easily recognizable by the colors of Ukrainian flag and the sunflower. It can be used in many ways, both in the digital environment and in the traditional printing materials.
The symbol and related materials can be downloaded from www.ukrainamerkki.fi, which brings together stories and information about the aid provided to Ukraine.
The Ukraine logo has been designed and implemented jointly by Marketing Finland, Suomalaisen Työn Liitto, Vala ry, Fama Consulting, LM Someco, Kuuki and Keskuskauppakamari.
