The event began with the ringing of the church bell of the Helsinki Cathedral and a moment of silence. President of Finland Sauli Niinistö, Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin, members of the Government, Mayor of Helsinki Juhana Vartiainen, Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland Ольга Діброва, ambassadors of foreign countries honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainians.

Thousands of candles in support of Ukraine were lit on the steps of the Cathedral. We thank the City Hall of Helsinki, the University of Helsinki and the Helsinki Parish Union for organizing the event, for incredible support and solidarity for peace and justice.
