On 21 August 2021, in the city of Porvoo, the Ukrainian Association in Finland, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine, held a mini-football tournament among the teams of the Ukrainian community, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence.

As a result of intense and uncompromising sport competition, the teams ranked as follow:

1. Cossacks

2. Trident

3. Cynical Banderas

4. NJ Rebar

5. Zbirna

The award ceremony was headed by the Chairman of the Ukrainian Association in Finland Vasyl Goutsoul together with second secretaries of the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland Viktoriia Kononchuk and Daniil Kononenko.

The representative of the Embassy also addressed the participants of the competition with a speech and read a letter of congratulation from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Finland Olga Dibrova.

We hope that the tournament will become our common tradition in the future, which will promote social and sports activities of the community, inspire Ukrainians to new achievements and national unity.
