At the meeting, Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland Mykhailo Vydoinyk and Director General of the Euro-Atlantic Department Olli Kantanen discussed the full spectrum of issues of the Ukrainian – Finnish cooperation. Special attention was paid to the development of high-level political dialogue, coordination of efforts in reaching just and lasting peace in Ukraine, implementation of projects of reconstruction and broaden assistance to Ukraine in all spheres, functioning of the Civil Protection Shelter Coalition, European integration of Ukraine and mutual support within the international organisations.
Olli Kantanen confirmed Finland`s unwavering support for Ukraine and its readiness to intensify cooperation across the entire bilateral agenda.
Concrete steps were agreed to facilitate practical implementation of previously shaped initiatives, in particular to develop Ukraine`s resilience and defence capabilities, protect Ukrainian people from ongoing Russian attacks, restore and rebuild Ukrainian cities and
towns.
