Ольга Діброва met the workers from Ukraine and inquired about their conditions of stay. Rasimus Farm has been inviting and hiring Ukrainian citizens for many years. This year, because of the war, people returned to work on the Finnish farm again.
Finns are very responsive to Ukrainians because the city of Imatra is a territory of Karelia, part of which was occupied by the USSR, so Imatra is well aware of the problems faced by refugees. They had to deal with those who fled from the Soviet occupation to this part of Karelia.
