Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, Olga Dibrova, addressed the audience and thanked Finland for its steadfast support of Ukraine in the fight against unprovoked Russian aggression, military, material and humanitarian aid, and hospitality to Ukrainians who had to flee the war.
Speaker of the Parliament of Finland Jussi Halla-aho, Minister of Climate and Environment of Finland Kai Mukännen, Minister of Education of Finland Anders Adlerkreutz and Mayor of Helsinki Juhana Vartiainen also spoke with congratulatory words. Ukrainian choirs, Finnish choir Cantores Minores, soloists Sofia Yakovyshyn and Outi Lehtonen performed Ukrainian and Finnish songs. And the entire Senate Square in Helsinki sang the national anthems of Ukraine and Finland.
