The blue-yellow flag, the National Anthem of Ukraine, the Freedom March, #FreeWorldGathering, embroidered shirt, songs, children's drawings, fairs and much more - this is how Ukrainians in Finland, together with their Finnish friends, celebrated the 31st anniversary of the restoration of Ukraine's Independence!

On this day and since the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation on February 24, Ukraine in Finland heard thousands of words of support, received tons of help, felt understanding, true respect and solidarity.

For half a year, Ukraine has been putting up heroic resistance and protecting peace in Europe at the cost of its own lives, at the cost of destroyed houses, streets, enterprises, burned fields and crippled destinies. We are fighting for freedom, dignity, democratic values of the civilized world. We fight and continue our fight thanks to the support of reliable friends of Ukraine.

We express our sincere gratitude for Finland's historic decision to provide military aid. For the already transferred 7 packages of security assistance and the preparation of the 8th package.

For an active position and support of Ukraine on international platforms. For the support of the Government of Finland for international initiatives to promote the investigation of crimes and the creation of the necessary international legal judicial mechanisms.

We are grateful to governmental and non-governmental organizations, private companies for providing valuable humanitarian and financial assistance to our defenders and all citizens affected by the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine!

We appreciate Finland's support in the decision to abandon Russian energy carriers and increase the sanctions pressure on the aggressor country!

Thank you for the allocated funds and the creation of good conditions for those who were forced to seek temporary protection in Finland!

Thank you to the Finnish companies that left the Russian market and do not sponsor a terrorist state!

Thank you for each donated fire truck for Ukrainian rescuers!

Thank you for every ambulance, medical equipment, medicines for our doctors and saving patients!

Thank you for accepting the Ukrainian military for treatment!

Thank you for taking care of people with disabilities!

Thank you for the opportunity to study, play, do sports and learn new things for Ukrainian children and youth!

Thank you for Finland's support of the ongoing educational reform in Ukraine. For sharing valuable experience, creating interesting projects and training Ukrainian teachers!

Thank you for breaking cultural and business cooperation with Russian cities!

Thank you for the opportunity to move freely by public transport, as well as visit museums!
