On March 18, 2021 issues of establishing cooperation in the field of reforming the school nutrition system in Ukraine that is currently being actively implemented upon the initiative of First Lady Olena Zelenska were discussed at the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland.

Marjaana Manninen, the Counsellor of Education at the Finnish National Agency for Education, told the Ambassador of Ukraine in Finland Olga Dibrova about the Finnish experience of serving free school lunches, which began in the 1940s.
