On March 26, 2024, Ambassador Olga Dibrova took part in the panel discussion "Ukraine's Path to the EU" at the Hanalys 2024 conference "Finland, Sweden and Ukraine in the Expanding Europe" (Espoo).

Together with Olga Dibrova, Ukrainian Ambassador to Sweden Andrii Plakhotniuk commented on Ukraine's European integration expectations.

The ambassadors emphasized the importance of formal confirmation of the earliest possible start of negotiations on Ukraine's membership in the EU and called on Finland and Sweden to provide all possible assistance to our country on the way to full membership in the Union.

Ambassador Dibrova also paid considerable attention to the need to ensure the security of our state, without which we will not be able to fully focus on the implementation of the necessary reforms and begin the active reconstruction of our state. "We want peace. But currently, the only way to peace lies through the battlefield and our victory on it," she noted.

Firm support for the European future of Ukraine was also emphasized in their speeches by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Elina Valtonen, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Tobias Billström, who were the main speakers of the conference.

The Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olga Stefanishyna also addressed the audience.
