Ukraine and Finland agreed to increase quota of permits for good`s transportation

The meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Finnish Commission for International Road Transport was held on the 11th of October, 2019 in Helsinki. The delegation of Ukraine was headed by Oleh Siryi, Acting Director of the Department of Strategic Development of the Road`s Market and Motor Transportation of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Finnish - Sini Viren, Director of the Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

The parties exchanged information on the stage of transportation goods and passengers  in the context of the development of Ukrainian-Finnish trade and economic cooperation.

During the discussion of the issue of setting quotas of permits for international road good`s transportation for 2020, the parties reached a mutually beneficial agreement on increasing the number of permits, which will contribute to bilateral trade growth.

Parties signed Protocol of the meeting.
