On September 23, 2019, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland, a photo exhibition “Ukrainian Insider” by Ukraїner was opened in one of the oldest Finnish publishing houses Kustannusosakeyhtiö Otava.
Ukraїner is a Ukrainian social and cultural media project that shows Ukraine through expeditions to unusual places in all its historical regions. The project unites over 300 volunteers and thousands of people who watch, read, share their stories. Ukraїner’s team creates inspiring stories about Ukrainians, exciting articles, photo stories and breathtaking videos.
The project strives to discover who Ukrainians are, to promote tourism development and to popularize Ukraine around the globe.
The author of the project is a journalist, writer and traveler Bogdan Logvynenko.
The Ukraїner’s exhibition "Ukrainian Insider" is aimed to show the unknown corners of Ukraine, embrace fully its natural and cultural diversity and unfold before stranger’s eyes this land as an unexpected, interesting, unpredictable, and colorful place.
More than 20 photoworks will tell you about modern Ukraine and its ancient heritage, as well as make you discover the diversity of breathtaking nature and customs of Ukrainian people.

The exhibition will remain open until October 11, 2019, at Otava Publishing House (Uudenmaankatu 10, 00120, Helsinki).
Opening hours are 9.00am to 4.00pm, Monday - Friday.
