On May 28, 2019 the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland and Iceland held an Open Doors Day for the residents of the Kulosaari Island, where the Embassy of Ukraine has been located for 25 years.
During the event, local residents got acquainted with the history of establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Finland, current socio-political and military-political situation in Ukraine in the light of Russia's ongoing military aggression, as well as cultural events organized by the Embassy and the Ukrainian community in Finland.
Moreover, visitors got acquainted with the permanent exhibition at the Embassy dedicated to the Great Famine of 1932-1933 in Ukraine (Holodomor), as well as received Ukraine Travel Guides and information materials on Ukrainian political prisoners, militarization and socio-political situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
