The new year in the Ukrainian Cinema Club of the Ukrainian Association in Finland, which contributes to popularization of the Ukrainian cultural heritage in Finland, began by screening of the first film of Ivan Drach as a screen writer and Yurii Illienko as a film director -  A Well For The Thirsty. The movie is remarkable for its minimalistic sound and is full of deep Ukrainian cultural and literary symbolism.

The event was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland, Ukrainian Association in Finland and Suomi-Ukraina silta.

After the screening, the informative and interesting conversation with Ivan Drach, a screen writer, one of the coryphaeus of the Ukrainian literature, was held.
