On October 14-15, 2016, Helsinki hosted the Days of Ukrainian Culture.

On October 14, 2016, in the Nukketeatteri Sampo, the Mukhailo Starytskii’s play Catch two Hares was represented by the Ukrainian theater of Finland directed by Igor Frei. The play was performed in Ukrainian with the Finnish subtitles.

On October 15, 2016, Tamara Yatsenko and Tetiana Sheliga met their fans at the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland. The film and theater actress, People's Artist of Ukraine Tamara Yatsenko, and popular TV- and film actress, Honored Artist of Ukraine Tetiana Sheliga answered the questions of guests of the event, described the peculiarities of the actor's work, shared their plans for the future.

On October 15, 2016, the most famous Ukrainian rock band Okean Elzy, within the framework of the World tour to support its ninth studio album Without limits, gave a concert in Helsinki attended by fans from Finland and Ukrainians from Norway, Denmark, Russia, Estonia.
