8. Draft flag of the Lubny Regiment of the Cossack Army (Hetmanat of Ukraine) depicting the national emblem. There are a signature of Lubny Colonel John Kulyabko and a discription of the Flag: “National emblem: it is painted on the Flag by proper colors on a light blue part on the right side on a gold ground; the length of the Flag has to be one-sixth of a yard, and the breadth has to be as two parts”.
From correspondence of Lubny regimental chancellery with Hetman Kyrylo Razumovsky dated 10-12 March 1758 on the allocation of funds for making new centesimal flags in the Lubny regiment.
